Our Instructors

Amber Archibald
Owner and Head Instructor
(she/her)

- Pole & Aerial Hoop -

I took my first pole fitness class in 2010 and have been teaching pole for over 10 years now. I have certifications including Tantra Fitness Beginner Pole Instructor, PFIC Pole and Lyra (Aerial Hoop) Level 1 instructor courses and most recently, CPFA Intermediate Pole Instructor Certification. I was thrilled to win the PSO Canada West and After Dark Senior Level 3 Championship in 2023. I am passionate about imparting my knowledge about aerial arts to others. I love the unique combination of power, artistic expression, and grace that the aerial art classes offer. These classes are a safe place for people to express themselves, build confidence, and have fun. I have built many great friendships over my pole and aerial hoop (Lyra) journeys and look forward to helping others on their journey.

Aimee Clayton
- Pole Instructor -

I started my pole journey in 2014 and instantly fell in love with the sport. I have been teaching since 2019, initially focusing on progressive pole classes then adding flow/exotic pole, pole poses and twerk. Pole has helped me gain confidence and feel graceful yet strong in a way that regular workouts never have. My goal with any pole class is to have fun, make you feel comfortable and help you connect with your body.

Krista Clark
- Pole Instructor -

I took my first pole fitness/dance class in 2014 and haven't looked back. I've been taking pole lessons for almost 6 years and I am incredibly excited to be a part of the team at Unity 253.  I have never felt as strong or as confident as when I'm working on a new pole move or a combination.  When I'm not at pole I am often found snowboarding, curling, or crocheting.

Tenille Fisher
 - Lyra (Aerial Hoop) Instructor -

I have been doing Aerial Hoop and Pole as hobbies since 2015. I love how these sports combine strength, flexibility, grace, and dance while being fun and building confidence. In 2021 I completed my Lyra Instructors certification and started teaching Lyra at Unity 253. I love to teach such a unique and empowering artform. My goal as instructor is to always have fun, energetic and safe class where participants can feel confidant and strong while learning this amazing skill.

Davlynn Pedrick

- Aerial Sling Instructor -

My name is Davlynn and I currently teach aerial sling at

Unity 253!

I started my aerial journey back in 2017 with an aerial sing (also known as hammock) class and was completely hooked on aerial arts ever since! I've trained both aerial silks and hammock, and have been teaching hammock classes for a few years now. My background is in gymnastics as a former gymnast and coach. I found aerial arts after retiring from gymnastics and searching for a new activity outlet! I love the mental and physical challenge of aerial arts.

As an instructor, I'm a big cheerleader! I love celebrating all successes no matter how small. When not in the air, you can catch me working as a veterinarian, checking out local eats or hanging out with my pets!

I hope to see you around the studio

Skye Archibald
- Admin Assistant -

(she/they)

My name is Skye and I am Amber's sister! I currently help manage the admin side of things remotely from William's Lake. I have also been helping Amber with her choreographies since day 1. I love it when I get to come down and check out special events like Unity's annual showcase. I love seeing how much fun everyone is having.
